iyris invitations- Our shop/store policies
When you purchase one of our invitations from Face Book, what you are purchasing is a single sample of the invitation.
This single sample includes:
- Your invitation
- Your invitation's matching envelope
- A matching waistband, or matching pocket.
- RSVP (Response card)
- Your RSVP (Response card)'s matching envelope
Please note that since this is a sample invitation, you will get a generically worded invitation.
Should you wish to have your wording in the sample, there will be an extra cost of $20.00.
This extra cost will cover:
- Three initial rounds of proof
- A final round of proof after you receive your hard copy of the invitation

This consulation helps us gage and acess what your needs are. By doing so, we are able to give you a quality product that will match your resources and not leave you disapointed. During this consultation, we will go through your coulour scheme, design options, paper and printing selection.
At the end of the consultation, we will be able to give you a clear estimation of the cost of your invitations.
The net step is placing an order for your invitation.
After you place an order for your invitation, we will need you to pay half the fees upfront.
This fees goes towards designing of your invitations, as well as getting the required materials.
Once we receive your payment, and your invitation wording, we will send you three initial designs for you to pick one from.
Part of the design process includes proofing.
Your invitation comes with four rounds of proof. Three initial rounds before the hard copy is sent to you, and one final round after you have received your hard copy. You will receive one hard copy of the invitation for proofing, and another hard copy will be sent to you after you approve the final proof. O
During these three rounds you get your invitations customized.
The customization includes:
-Personalising your wording
-Personalising your paper choice
-Personalising your design choice
-Personalising your ink options (if available)
The following are not included in the proofing process:
-Font changes - extra CA$25 fee for font changes
-Major layout changes - CA$25 fee
The first round of proofs will be emailed to you after you have submitted your wording. You may request changes two additional times. This results in two additional sets of proofs, totalling to three rounds of proofs.
Should you require more changes before the card is mailed out to you, there will be a charge of CA$25.00 for each extra round of proofing.|
Please note that this does not include the final sample proof (last round of proof after you receive your hard copy).
Likewise, should you have more changes after the fourth round of proofs, the will be additional charges of CA$25.00 for each extra round of proofing.
For the orders that include addressing, you will receive individual proofs for each individual envelope. Please make sure to finalize your spreadsheet before submitting it to us. Guest address proofs that require more than 5 individual changes after the initial proof will be subject to an additional CA$25 fee.
Once we are done with all the proofing, and receive a go ahead from you, we will require you to complete your payment. No production on your cards will begin until the payment has been completed. Payment is expected from you before we begin printing and or assembling your cards. On receiving your payment, we will create you a sample invitation card. On receiving the sample invitation, you will have one last and final chance to make any changes to your invitation card. This will be our last and final round of proofing. Your sample invitation will us take between 2-4 weeks to produce, and you have the option of either receiving a digital or physical sample (at no extra cost), for the final proofing.
When you receive your sample cared, please be sure to go through it carefully, as we will not be help responsible for any typos, and or errors in the text, that were approved during the proofing process. Once we have your approval, reproduction of your card will begin. You final products should be ready for shipping within 4-6 weeks. When your product ships out, you will receive an email notice, with the tracking number.
Shipping & Handling
All of our invitations are shipped by FeDex Priority, (unless you specify otherwise in your notes). It usually takes 3-6 business days local, and 10-14 business days internationally. Orders will only be shipped out upon receipt of your full payment. Local shipment by Canada post is available for Canada. As the buyer, please note that all import related fees are your responsibility. For our international clients, please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery due to frequent delays at customs.
We are not responsible for shipping delays at customs. You should factor this in, as part of your shipping expectancy. Please note that these shipping times are not a guarantee, but an estimate. You will have a tracking number, which you can use to track your item. Buyers may request alternate (faster) shipping arrangements. If additional postage is required, it is up to you, the customer, to provide payment accordingly before shipment takes place.
After we receive your deposit, as well as the PDF form from you (for additional detail such as amount, wording etc), we will send you an invoice for the total amount due. This amount will include the shipping and deposit, subtracted from the total amount. On receiving the invoice from us, you have 3 business days to get back to us. Should you decide not to continue the process with us, you can cancel your order, for a full refund of the monies already paid. If we do not hear back from you, then we will go ahead and begin working on your invitations. Please note that after we begin working on your invitation, there will be no cancellations allowed. Should you decide to stop the process at this point, you will not be refunded the monies that you had already paid. This ensures that the work that we have done for you up to this time is not lost, and that our time is accounted for.
Due to the nature of our work, which is customization of your invitations, we do not accept returns or exchanges. iyris invitations, will not be held responsible for errors that were approved by you during the proofing process. Therefore, be sure to carefully go over your proofs for spellings, punctuation capitalization, and grammar. We will package all items with care and are not responsible for any items lost or damaged in the mail.
Digital invitation cards:
No work can begin on your card, until we receive the full payment. If we do not receive your payment, within 24 hours, then we will cancel your order. After we receive your payment, we will send you a PDF form for you to fill out with your invitation or event details. You will receive this from us within 24 hours. If you do not hear back from us in this allocated time, please check your spam, or get in touch with us.
The time it takes between receiving you order to mailing it is 3-5 business days. For any other expenses incurred with your order, we will email you an invoice with the balance. When all balances have been cleared, we will email you your final PDF or JPG copy of the invitation.
Shipping & Handling:
After placing your order, you should receive your digital invitation within 3-5 business days. Please note that this time also depends on how fast you respond to our emails. If within 24 hours of placing your order you have still not heard back from us, please check your spam folder, or notify us.
Upon purchase, you have upto three business days to clear your payment. If within 3 business days we do not receive your payment, we will cancel your order. Once we receive the payment, we will send you a PDF form, for you to fill in additional information, such as your wording, customization options etc. Should there be additional charges for customization, we will send you an invoice for the total amount due. On receiving the invoice from us, you have 3 business days to get back to us. Should you decide not to continue the process with us, you can cancel your order, for a full refund of the monies already paid. If we do not hear back from you, then we will go ahead and begin working on your invitations.
Please note that after we begin working on your invitation, there will be no cancellations allowed. Should you decide to stop the process at this point, you will not be refunded the monies that you had already paid. This ensures that the time we have spent with you is accounted for and not lost.
